On healthcare . . .
Gwen supports the Affordable Health Care Act and wants to ensure that affordable, quality healthcare is available to all Americans. She also fights to protect women’s access to reproductive health services.
On the environment . . .
Gwen believes we must protect our environment and natural resources because our nation’s public lands and waterways are not only irreplaceable, but also economic generators.
Plans for the Economy
Gwen works to create jobs, help small businesses expand and get access to credit, help state/local governments rebuild schools and public hospitals, all while being mindful of the national debt. Gwen wants to invest in updated infrastructure that will connect our cities and our people, as well as and reinvigorate Milwaukee’s industrial base.
Access to education should be a fundamental right. Gwen supports reforms such as safety initiatives, better technology, smaller class sizes, after school activities, enhanced parent involvement, and a lunch program.
