Jessica King ~ U.S. House, District 6

Jessica began her career as a lawyer, where she fought for struggling families and businesses during the Great Recession, as well as patients struggling with healthcare bills resulting from wrongfully denied insurance claims. Jessica has served on the Oshkosh Common Council, Wisconsin State Senate, and numerous community boards. If elected, Jessica promises to fight for a strong, healthy, sustainable future. She will advocate for the diversification of Wisconsin’s rural economy, as well as a healthcare system that works for everyone.

Jessica supports affordable healthcare and medications, universal healthcare coverage and a public option, and patient advocacy.
Environment: Jessica believes in building a sustainable future, protecting natural public spaces, building a capacity to reduce the impacts of extreme weather events, and restoring Wisconsin’s waterways.

Plans for the Economy

Jessica will advocate for local farmers, families, and small businesses. She will fight for federal financial support to Wisconsin to repair and maintain our roads and bridges.

Education Policy

Jessica fully supports the Early Head Start and Preschool Development Grants. She also supports the American Apprenticeship Act, which provides funding to states for the creation of tuition assistance programs that benefit participants in apprenticeship programs.
